I first met Jim at Magnetic Island Race Week in 2021. He was sailing aboard RUSHHOUR a 50ft racing multihull.
Jim and I hit it off immediately and had a great week, sailing hard and laughing a lot. Fast forward a year and my girlfriend Jessie and I were racing her Ranger 37 Godspeed. I was unable to race on the Monday and I asked Jim if he was available to help. Without hesitation, he jumped on board. I’m still jealous that Jessie got to do a race with Jim on board. Hopefully I’ll get the opportunity in the future.
